Broken Wheel from Night Owl Quilting

Wanda made this Broken Wheel quilt.   The quilt was inspired by the border fabric that Wanda loves and was purchased for her by someone special.

Wanda selected the Gatsby pantograph.  It isn't a pantograph I get to use all that often, but I feel it suits this quilt just perfectly.

Wanda added this complimentary purple Woolies flannel on the back that is thick and luxurious - totally worth the splurge!

Two for Madeline from Night Owl Quilting

I had the pleasure of quilting 2 lovely lap quilts for Madeline.  The first is called Topsail by Quilt Cakes.

Madeline selected the Gatsby pantograph that has a bit of a modern geometric feel.

The second one is called Agnes by Penelope Handmade.

The Wildflower pantograph complimented the fabric prints and was just the perfect choice.

Homecoming from Night Owl Quilting

Friends Shalane, Reneta and Amy worked together to make this lovely quilt for a coworker who is retiring.  The pattern is called Homecoming by Lo and Behold Stitchery.

Quilts for Grandsons from Night Owl Quilting

Marlene made these two wonderful quilts for her grandsons.  She made them Christmas quilts with Fireside backing a couple of years ago and they always want to use them early in the fall and well into the new year much to their mom's dismay.  So Marlene made new neutral quilts with the cozy backing they love so much.

The first quilt is called Nuts and Bolts and Marlene found it in the 2006 Spring/Summer edition of Quilt Sampler Magazine.

Marlene selected the Gatsby pantograph for this one.

The second one is a pattern called Square Dance by Gigi ...

Slam Dunk! from Night Owl Quilting

Get ready to see not one, not two, but three versions of this fabulous Slam Dunk quilt.  Reneta was sewing up a storm this winter with Cluck Cluck Sew's Slam Dunk pattern to make two graduation gifts and a special thank you gift for her youngest son's long time coach.

You will notice these photos were taken in the winter and early spring when I did the quilting, but I didn't share the photos until the gifts were given.

The first of the three received some light custom quilting.  I followed the fabric design in the sashing ...
